As leaders and change-makers in the United States adapt to a new political era, Dunn Street is launching the fifth engagement mission to the United States this coming October.

We are assembling a select group of Australian industry leaders that will connect with Democratic politicians, innovative businesses, community organisers, campaigners, social media and digital practitioners, data analysts and policy think-tanks in New York and Washington DC for our annual US Engagement Mission.

We would like to invite you or a member of your team to join our Australian delegation to the United States, and participate in these conversations with fellow leaders in government, campaigns, civic policy and innovation.

  • After landing in the District of Columbia, Dunn Street will facilitate a packed, diverse 5-day program from Monday 20 October to Friday 24 October.

From K Street to Capitol Hill, and the streets and avenues of Manhattan, you will meet with leaders and organisations at the heart of the political, financial and cultural capitals of the United States.

Between the dinners, meetings, social and cultural events delegates gain an understanding of how this great experiment grapples with shaping a nation of 347 million citizens into - a more perfect union.

  • The program is structured into a series of 90 minute sessions, at locations across both cities during the day and concluding with a dinner and special guest speakers each evening.

Spanning a wide range of areas of interest, the program provides a generalist overview of the United States as well as the opportunity to dive deeper on your area of interest.

The program begins with a focus on government including sessions with the Australian diplomatic mission and a Democratic congressional member.

Public policy sessions with titans such as the Center for American Progress will address the current issues facing America.

Delegates will meet with leading campaign practitioners from the DNC, labour unions, elected officials, community organisers and data analysts, among others.

We’ll discuss how American policymakers, businesses, non-profits and media organisations are responding to life under the Trump Administration.
